Went out mythological beast hunting today and was not disappointed!
Found me a beautiful stand of Ghost Pipe! (Monotropa uniflora)

Deep into the woods you go… looking for mossy beds and decomposing logs. A mix of cedar grove and other evergreens will tell you you’re getting closer. Sometimes it likes to pop up near to waterways, but not so close that it gets its feet wet. Bend down and you’ll see its little shoulders poking through the dense humus of the earth.
